August 10, 2015

The OnePlus one was for sure one of the most brilliant handset of 2014. A very new handset with lots of new features has come into the market. Now this time they are back with the upgraded version of the previous one. It has also very amazing features and it is also in low budget so that the low class people can also afford this mobile phone.

OnePlus 2 display

This device has a 5.5 inches full HD screen quality with the resolution of (1,080 x 1,920 pixels) LCD display with Gorilla Glass protection. The display is full HD and the screen quality is really perfect. You can watch your favorite HD movies on this display. The pixel density is also very high for this mobile phone because the quality of the screen if full QHD which require some extra power of battery to capture the full HD pictures and videos.

As for the brightness, OnePlus has been shouting about its “600 nits bright display” in its marketing materials. The display is also very bright and we can compare this display with the Sony and Samsun g handsets and the result was very good, so oneplus 2 screen quality can compete with other smartphones of new age.

OnePlus 2 design

The design of this classic mobile phone is very perfect. The corners are very good and dust resistance while the display has very good brightness and good quality. The handset has a convex rear, which contours into the hand, and it has also a good grip. It’s a very comfortable size, and it can fit into both hand and even in a pocket, and the metal sides are wide enough to feel flat and smooth, not sharp like on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. All of the buttons are easily accessible and in the right places which requires a very smooth power to press the button.

A very good thing about this device is that it comes in only one color but it has many replicable and colorful back, and you can change the back as according to your mood. The mobile device also has a physical ‘alert slider’ on its left edge. This feature is very similar to the iPhone’s mute switch, except it acts as a toggle for notifications, allowing you to switch between three different profiles. So we can say that Smartphone is going to be a best phone in 2015.

This device also has finger print scanner so this device gives its user more security and more privacy so that no one can use your mobile phone without your permission. Coming towards the home button It sits somewhere between capacitive and physical, and acts as both a fingerprint scanner and a home button.

There is no micro SD card slot in this handset and the good thing which we have analyzed in oneplus 2 is that the battery at the back in removable, so you can also insert a higher mile ampere battery for more stand by and working time. Overall this mobile phone is very good and it has lots of features and it look perfect in hands.

OnePlus 2 software & Operating system

The OnePlus 2 is running its own operating system, Oxygen OS version 2.0, which appears to be a very subtly improved stock Android and this is the main thing which differentiate this mobile phone from the current versions. This operating system is very simple and it comes with the very easy and simple features such as the much-loved ‘tap to wake’, which wakes your phone when you double tap it.

The task bar is very similar to stock android 5.0 lollipop with the similar brightness features and the custom Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and similar ones. On the task bar there is also custom flashlight installed so you can put your flashlight on with a simple click.

Swapping between the different apps in the recent apps menu, and opening and closing browser windows, was all pleasingly swift. The only issue we has observed was with returning to the home screen, as outlined in the design section above.

In addition, this device also includes a new feature called Shelf, an area that is accessible from the left side of the home screen — you know, where all of the most amazing features like Blink feed and My Magazine are held — and acts as a shortcut to your favorite contacts and most used apps.

This smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The general performance was strong and the interface appeared to be running smoothly

Overall the stock operating system is performing quite good and it can compete with android but yes we don’t have a real competitor of android till now and this mobile phone is working very hard to compete with the android.

OnePlus 2 camera

OnePlus 2 has a 13 mega pixels back camera with optical image stabilization, dual-LED flash and 4K video, and on the front a 5 Meg Pixels front facing camera. This device has its own camera software, which looks like a modified version of the Google Camera. Its feature list is not overcrowded, with just a few simple options such as one-touch ‘beautify’ and panorama, but it performed well at a brief glance. The indoor result for this camera is very brilliant while the outdoor is also well.

OnePlus 2 battery

The OnePlus 2 battery comes in at a 3,300 mAh capacity. It’s larger than many competing products this year, such as the iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6, so it should be capable of delivering stronger battery life to compete with these giants. It also has a good power saving mode in competition with the ultra-power saving mode of Samsung.
