Ghost games the game developing company has sadly announced that the Need for Speed which was going to be released soon on PC as well as Consoles will be delayed on PC
Instead of getting released on 5th of November worldwide this year, alongside Play Station 4 & Xbox One, it got delayed to 2016 and will be released in Spring of 2016.
Ghost games tells us why NFS was delayed on PC “The Extra time was necessary to Increase the visuals that we can deliver on PC.”
They also said “We will also include content updates that will have been released on console up to that time, making them available to all PC players from day one”.
They say that another reason that NFS was delayed on PC was also to unlock the frame rates on PC unlike Consoles on which the frames will be locked.
“Part of the conversation includes hearing from our PC community that an unlocked frame rate in Need for Speed is a massive priority for you, and we fully agree. To deliver this, we’ve made the decision to move the PC release date to spring 2016.”-Ghost Games
“At Ghost, we’re united by one common passion… to deliver the best Need for Speed experience possible. And at every step of the development process we’re guided by our community.”-Ghost Games
They also presented good news that they will be releasing a beta version of the game on PS4 and Xbox One, in the coming weeks.
