Google Confirmed Android 6.0 Marshmallow

On Google own Developers blog, today they have confirmed that the new version of android will be android 6.0 and the name which they have given to this version is Marshmallow. There was very conspiracy about the name of the upcoming version because there were very much rumors about the name but now this is confirm that the next version will be Marshmallow.

Google hasn’t given the final date of the release of this version of android, but the blog post has just mention that it will be releases “this fall”. Android Marshmallow pushes Android’s API level to 23, the developers are working very hard for the interface of this mobile version of android.


According to AndroidPIT Android 6.0 Marshmallow is covering the two new portions of the modern tech world and that are a finger print scanner and individual app permission. We will let you know deeply about these feature once Google release this version. But for a while we will give you a very short overview.

Android Platform Change:

Final Permissions User Interface — Google has updated the permissions user interface and enhanced some of the permissions behavior which will lead the android smoothness to next level.

API Change:

Updates to the Fingerprint API — which enables better error reporting, better fingerprint enrollment experience, plus enumeration support for greater reliability. Many users in the past was complaining against the finger ID that it is not working properly so the developers of Samsung are doing hard work for the improvement of this feature.
