Design Comparison of Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4:
The galaxy Note 4 measures 153x78x8.5mm and the weight of note is 176g, as compare to the Note 5 which measures at 153x76x7.6mm and weight 171 g so as you can see a little change and decrease in the weight of Note 5. And it is also given that the screen size of both the mobile phones are same in size and almost the measures and weight are also equal.
You can say that the galaxy Note 4 is a bugger version of galaxy alpha while the Galaxy Note 5 is somehow related to the Galaxy S6 Market. it is very tough to tell which smartphone is the best among these two but we can see that galaxy note 5 has some little improvement from the previous version but the galaxy Note 4 was also stylish and shabby device and the best feature in the note 4 was the removable back which is still missing in the galaxy Note 5.
The back of the new galaxy note 5 is also somehow differ from the previous Note because this time the back is fixed in the note 5 so Samsung has made the back glassy and shinning just like the galaxy S6 and s6 edge. In the lower portion of the back this time Samsung has built their information regarding this mobile phone with as Samsung logo and some info.
It is very disappointing moment for the Samsung user, that previously Galaxy note series was famous and it has gain more power over iPhone and nexus because note series had an expandable storage with micro SD card and a removable battery, which has been removed from the series and the note 5 doesn’t have these both feature.
Display Comparison of Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4:
Both the devices has got the same screen size as 5.7 inches display with the resolution of 2560 x 1440. Both the handsets has super amoled Quad HD screen quality with extra rich graphics installed on the screen. The pixel density of both the handsets is 518 ppi which is the best feature of Samsung because the graphics on these pixels looks pretty nice and eye catching.
A very little point about the new Galaxy note 5 is that the screen quality of this note 5 is UHD which is drain some battery power, as compare to the Amoled screen which saves the battery power in the galaxy Note 4.
Performance Comparison of Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4:
The galaxy Note 4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip, which has a 2.7GHz quad-core CPU. The new Galaxy Note 5 uses Samsung’s own Exynos 7420. This has a full-power 2.1GHz quad-core CPU, for when the phone needs full performance and a low-power 1.5GHz quad-core CPU for lighter tasks to help save battery life. While the Note 4 has 3GB of RAM the Note 5 has 4GB of RAM. One big difference is that the Note 4 has a 32-bit CPU, while the Note 5 has a 64-bit CPU. Which means that you will get a double CPU in the Note 5.
After the benchmark test we have found that the result of note 5 was same as the galaxy s6. So we can assume that it will be faster than the note 4, while the test suggest that Note 5 is 33% faster than the Galaxy Note 4.
Samsung has continuously improved the Air Command menu, which works in conjunction with the S Pen in each iteration of the Note series, and has done so again with the Galaxy Note 5. This time the S pen has lots of improvement then the previous version, now we have got a new memo with distract of S pen, more pop ups and many more things.
The Galaxy Note 5 also comes with Samsung Pay thanks to its MST (magnetic secure transmission) integration. Unlike NFC payments, which require compatible terminals, MST works with existing credit card terminals that are already in most stores.

Battery Comparison of Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4:
The battery feature is very interesting in both the handsets. Galaxy Note series was always famous for his battery life, long stand by time and many good features with power saving modes. The galaxy note 4 has a 3,220 mAH power battery which was very good. Everyone in the market was expecting that the new phone will have greater battery then the previous version but when the Galaxy note 5 has launched in the market the battery of this new handset was only 3,000 mAH a huge disappointing decrease in the battery life from Samsung.
The Galaxy Note 5 does offer the option for wireless quick-charging, which the Note 4 does not, but it requires a separate, yet-to-be-priced wireless charging station. Though we haven’t had a chance to put the battery under strain yet, even with improved hardware/software optimization, we aren’t convinced that the Galaxy Note 5 will deliver better battery life than its predecessor.
Software Comparison of Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4:
The galaxy note 4 was launched with the android OS of kittkat android 4.4.4 which was a very descent version although now it is updatable to android 5.0.1 android lollipop. The same case with the new galaxy note 5 but this mobile phone is launched with the custom 5.1 android lollipop and in the future when Samsung release android Marshmallow the galaxy note 5 will be for sure in the very first handsets who will receive the Android M update. Both also have the S-Pen stylus, providing a very similar range of features across both, only note 5 has somehow little improvement in the S pen but the overall function of both the S pen are the same.

Camera Comparison of Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4:
Both the handsets has the same mega pixels of camera that is 16 MP with an auto focus, LED flash, and 2160p video recording which is huge in size just like the professional DSLR camera. The improvement in the galaxy note 5 is in the front camera which is improved from 3.2 mega pixels to 5.0 mega pixels. Other aspects of the camera have also received an upgrade, making it more comparable to the excellent Galaxy S6 camera.
Below are showing some camera results of both the handsets:

Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4 Price Comparison:
The new Galaxy Note 4 is available all over the world easily in the market, the price for the galaxy note 4 in the market is $540 for the 32 GB variant while the price in Pakistan for the galaxy note 4 is 58,000 PKR.
While the new release galaxy note 5, early pricing of this device is $700 USD for the 32 GB version and $800 USD for the 64 GB version.
The very interesting point Samsung has made in the SAMSUNG UNPACKED EVENT is that they have realized that the Samsung phablet market is not increasing in the Europe market so the Galaxy Note 5 will not release in that region, but Samsung has release the little sister of note 5 that is the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + for the people of Europe and it has been released in that region.
Galaxy Note 5 VS Galaxy Note 4 Conclusion:
The big disappointments about the new galaxy note 5 are
- Missing SD card slot.
- Non removable battery.
- Smaller Battery.
The display of both the devices are same, size, pixels and resolutions are the same for the note4 and note 5. The performance and camera specs are stronger, and the sleek design is undoubtedly more impressive, but the degree to which these aspects matter, in the grand scheme of things, may be negligible.
If you want the latest, high-performance, attractive smartphone, the Note 5 will certainly please. If the looks don’t sway you, maybe you’ll prefer last year’s lower-priced Note 4.
But it’s totally depends up on the users of Samsung that what suits to them, what price they afford and what they want. Do tell us in the comment Box which device you prefer and why?
Thank You 🙂
