While looking at the features and specs of DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Mavic Pro it seems as DJI is set to out place its own Phantom 4. It has to be kept in mind that Mavic Pro is yet to hit the market so reaching a conclusion before it has been released would be a little too early but from what different reviews are coming it seems that the foldable ability of DJI Mavic Pro is the only selling point, apart from this the Mavic Pro quadcopter also has an adjustable focus unlike the Phantom 4, if set correctly the image quality will actually be sharper than the Phantom 4 drone, depending upon the subject distance otherwise most they both share almost the same features.

The most asked about a question related to Mavic is; what is the main difference between DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Mavic Pro. So here it goes; the Mavic is lighter, smaller and easy to carry around thanks to its foldable design. With the new ACcuSync transmission system has a longer transmission range with 1080p resolution.
Now that we have covered the cameras of both the drones let’s get to the rest of their features and specs. The table below covers even the most basic and slightest differences DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Mavic have, so have a look and make a wise choice:
There is almost zero difference between both the drones when it comes to general functionality, except for the size obviously. The FOV is somewhat slenderer on the Mavic but for an average user that isn’t even measureable. If you are a fan of Phantom for its compactness over the Inspire series then be sure that DJI has enhanced it even more with Mavic pro, it fits your pocket even better. Phantom 4 is a little better at speed that is it can fly up till 45mph while Mavic manages 40mph. We know that the P4 is a durable drone and can manage some serious hits but it would be a little soon to say anything about Mavic pro, so let’s just keep this aside for later reviews.
