Budget Gaming PC better than Next Gen Consoles

Its a new era of Gaming for both PC and console users. In the ever present battle between PC and consoles, the PC will always have the upper hand. Following article is dedicated to those Gamers who want to build a Gaming PC and are short on money and want the best out of their PC. In spite the fact that New Gen Consoles have their Exclusive titles which will attract a decent amount of Gamers but PC will always have the upper hand in those games which are available on all consoles.

Processor for Gaming PC:

Keeping the fact in Mind that we going to build a Budget Gaming PC the CPU we chose for our build is New Intel Core i3 4150 @ 3.5Ghz. Yeah its a Dual Core processor with Hyper-threading enabled making it work like a Quad-Core. Taking advantage of the Haswell’s Refresh Architecture it performs great in Games as well as applications. This CPU is available for $ 121 on Newegg.

Motherboard for Gaming PC:

For the motherboard we won’t be choosing those fancy and cool gaming mobo’s from Asus, MSI etc because we are on a tight budget keeping that in mind we are building a PC in a price range around that of next Gen consoles. The motherboard we chose for this build is the Asus H81M-A which is great motherboard looking it by the way of its price. This mobo support all Haswell and Haswell Fresh CPU and is a great option for the Gamers on a tight budget available for $ 55 at Newegg.

Physical Memory/ Ram for Gaming PC:

Well going towards the ram for you PC we can choose some fancy rams keeping in mind that we are on a budget. Well its been long since the prices of ram have dropped and are not expected to rise again. We rams we chose for this Build are the Corsair Vengeance 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 memory kit. Its available for $50 at Newegg and is known Great for it gaming value.

Graphics Card for Gaming PC:

One of the most important component for PC Gamers is the graphics card which lays the base foundation of the settings and resolution PC Gamers run their games. Well PC gamers are lucky now a days a year back Nvidia GeForce GTX 750Ti was the mainstream budget gaming Graphics card that was been used for gaming which didn’t even require a great amount of electricity a ran great on 300watts PSU though we recommend to use at least 400watts. A few days back Nvidia launched GTX 950 which is based on the Maxwell’s 2 architecture and shows a great for performance for its price. And Yeah the Card we are using in our build is the Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 950. The one we are using in this build is GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 950 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 and is available for $160 US at newegg.

Storage/ Hardisk:

Well looking at the size of next gen games and keeping the budget in mind 1 TB of Hardisk is more than enough for a start up. You can download and install a tons of games. Well for the Gaming PC we suggest you buy a branded seagate, western digital 1TB hardisk from Newegg or Amazon or from where ever you get the right prize. It will be available around $50-55 US

Power Supply/ PSU :

Well if you have look at the main components we have used for this build you’ll find out that this is a very energy efficient Gaming PC, even buying a branded 300-350watts PSU will be enough for the build but to be on the safe the PSU we have chosen for their build is the Corsair CX 430W. Which is great PSU for this build and is available for around $ 40 US on Newegg.
